Claudi Martí (Carcassonne, Occitania, 1941), in addition to being a writer, teacher and poet, is, above all, the great singer-songwriter in the Occitan language of the 20th century. Songs like “Perqué m’an dit”, “Montsegur” or “Un país que vòl viure”, have become true anthems not only throughout Occitania but also in the Catalan Countries and neighboring territories.

Now, 15 years after his last album of his own repertoire (Toulouse, 2008), the best of Claudi Martí returns in a new studio recording that this time comes out in digital format but also on vinyl. “Retorn” is an updated and modernized collection of the great songs of this singer-songwriter from Languedoc who has become a living legend.

The album “Retorn” has already been awarded the prestigious prize of the Académie Charles CROS coup de couer 2023.
