Submersió Alfa

The melodic uniqueness of traditional Catalan songs, as well as the literary, fresh and popular expression of their texts, well deserved to have a place in the youth festival. These songs have been equipped with mechanisms to provoke collective singing over the centuries. Proverbs, refrains and “responses” capture the complicity of a young audience, often not used to singing when going to a party.

We have made a tailor-made outfit for about thirty songs. A dress for going to the theatre, to the vermouth, to the huts…

“Submersió Alfa”, with a vigorous ensemble of electric guitars and drums, invites us to immerse ourselves in the cosmos of traditional songs, without complexes and makes us participants in the show with voice and movement.
